From K to Kc

Postby Casey Collet 1I » Mon Dec 01, 2014 5:41 pm

When converting from K to Kc, the equation raises RT to the power of ∆n. Would you include the moles of non-gas reactants/products when solving for the change of n?

No; only gaseous products and reactants are taken into account.

delta n = (Total moles of gas on the products side) - (Total moles of gas on the reactants side).
