For this homework problem, what are we supposed to do when the amounts are given in mmol to find the reaction quotient, Q?

mmol means millimole, so the given amounts should be converted to moles before calculating the reaction quotient.

convert from millimoles to moles (1000 mmol = 1 mol ). Also remember to convert the value so it corresponds to 1 Liter instead of the 0.5L.

mmol is millimole so you would convert that into moles and then for concentration divided by liters.
