Expression for K

Why d we have to put P in front of the molecules? for example= (P O2) + (P H4)

The equilibrium constant is the same for concentration or partial pressure. If you put the molecule in brackets, then that means you are using concentration. If you put the "P" then that means you are using partial pressure. It just depends on what information the problem gives you.

P is used to express partial pressures of gases in equilibrium equations.

P means Partial Pressure and the brackets [] mean concentration

You would put P in front when there are gases involved in the reaction.
