Small K value and Large K value

What is the cut off for the value of K to say that the reaction strongly favors the formation of reactions and the reaction strongly favors the formation of products? Thank you in advance.

K >10^3 means that the reaction strongly favors the formation of products.
K < 10^-3 means that the reaction strongly favors the formation of reactants
10^-3 < K < 10^3 means that the reaction is not reactant or product favored.

It strongly favors the formation of products if K>10^3 and it strongly favors the formation of reactants when K<10^-3.

Additionally, it's very rare that k=1 because that would mean that the two compounds which are different have the same stability.

Dr. Lavelle said that the cutoff is 10^-3 and 10^3 respectively. Thus, if K < 10^-3, then the reactants are strongly favored. On the other hand, if K > 10^3, then the products are strongly favored. If K = 1 (this is extremely rare), then neither reactants nor products are favored, as they have the same level of stability. Finally if 10^-3<K<10^3, then reactants or products may slightly be favored in one direction or the other, but not by a significant amount

In lecture, Lavelle said that if the value is between the two limits neither the reactant nor the product is favored and it is in a sort of intermediate state.

Because K= Products/Reactants, when K > 10^3, this means that products are being favored since K would be large(thus, shifting to the right). When K<10^-3, the reaction favors reactants because K would be small(shifting to the left).

Does that mean that we most likely won't be asked a question on whether the reactants or products are favored if the K value falls between either 10^-3 and 10^3?

I think there could be cases where K is between 10^-3 and 10^3, in which technically neither the forward nor reverse reaction would be favored.

I think we could still be asked a question like this where the K value falls between that range, the answer could just be that it is in an intermediate state and does not favor either the reactants or products.
