Re: Kp
Kp is meant to be used when dealing with the partial pressures of various gases, and Kc is meant to be used for concentrations.

Re: Kp
Kp is used when dealing with gases, it is the equilibrium constant calculated from the partial pressures.

Re: Kp
K is the general equilibrium constant while Kp refers to the equilibrium constant when using partial pressures.
Re: Kp
KP is used to deal with the partial pressures of an equation at equilibrium, (P=Pressure). Since, as explained in lecture, you can't compress solids and it takes an absurd amount of energy to compress liquids a small amount, their affect on the pressure of a reaction container are taken to be negligible. Therefore, you should use KP only with gases.

Re: Kp
Kp is only used for gases, while Kc is used for concentrations. If needed, you can convert individual species from concentration to atm through PV=nRT
