### Coverting Kp to Kc

Can we use Kc for all of the equilibrium problems that have gases in the reactant/products instead of Kp? I don't remember going over converting Kc to Kp in lecture or discussion in depth, so would we have to do it on the test?

I don't think you will need to do that, you should just use it in whatever form it is given to you and as long as you stay consistent it should get you the correct answer!

It just depends on what units the data is given in. If it's concentrations, then you would denote that with Kc, but if you're given it in pressure, then denote it with Kp. If for some reason you need to convert between concentration and pressure, you can use PV=nRT.
