### "shifting" eq?

What does it mean when we say the eq is shifted to the right or left, in terms of K's values?

If K is a large number (larger than 1 x 10^3), then that means at equilibrium, more products are present than reactants and the equilibrium is shifted right.

If K is a small number, (smaller than 1 x 10^-3), then at equilibrium, more reactants are present than products and the equilibrium is shifted left.

Using the same values as stated above, we can also say how equilibrium lies to the right or shifts right or favors products. All three of the terminologies mean about the same thing.

If eq is shifted right, then products will be favored. If eq is shifted left, then reactants will be favored.
