### Chapter 11 #67 Numbers Not Adding Up?

Hi, I'm aware that there's another question about number 67 on the front page, but I've experienced in the past that if I try and ask another question about the same problem in it's thread, it generally won't be noticed so sorry in advance for the extra clutter.

Within the solutions manual, after cancelling most of the x's in the problem to zero, we're left with $3.2*10^{-34}=\frac{x}{16}$

But somehow it's saying that x equals $2.6*10^{-33}$ when you multiply through by 16.

I'm not sure if I'm making literally the stupidest arithmetic error every known in the history of Chem 14A or if there's a typo here in the manual. Because when you multiply both sides of the equation by 16, the answer should be $5.12*10^{-33}$

Anyways, I hope I haven't overlooked anything, I've run this numerical operation on 4 different calculators and stared at that equation for longer than I'd care to admit. If I'm wrong here I hope it's simply because I'm misreading the text.

Thanks

There's a mistake in the solution manual. It should read $3.2*10^{-34}=\frac{(x)(2.0)}{(4.0)^{2}}=\frac{x}{8}$ instead of $3.2*10^{-34}=\frac{(x)(2.0)}{(4.0)^{2}}=\frac{x}{16}$. Thanks for noticing!
