Sig Figs for Equilibrium Constants

Postby Natalie Yakobian » Sun Nov 15, 2015 1:46 pm

Hi I was wondering do we count the number of sig in K?

For example in problem 11.117 K has two sig figs but the final answer has 3. Why is this?

It may have just been a mistake in the answer key because when multiplying the lowest number of sig figs is kept. If two sig figs was the lowest then the value of K should have been in two sig figs.
