Module Survey Question

Postby Richmund Tan 1L » Tue Nov 17, 2015 2:44 pm

Hello,

I had a question regarding this problem:

10. What is the equilibrium constant expression, K, for the balanced chemical equation:
A ⇌ 2 B

A. K = [A]/2[B]

B. K = [A][B]2

C. K = [A] / [B]2

D. K = [B]2 / [A]

E. None of the above

I understand that that correct answer could be D, but if it does not specify that A and B are aqueous or gases, would E also be a correct answer?
Also, does anyone know if we can view the answers to these module questions. I'm interested in knowing which problems I did correctly/incorrectly.

Thank you!

Correct, if either A or B was a solid or a liquid E would be an acceptable answer.
