Achieve Week 3 #5

Postby Amanda Nguyen dis 2E » Sun Jan 16, 2022 12:04 am

The Kb for an amine is 2.022×10−5. What percentage of the amine is protonated if the pH of a solution of the amine is 9.303 ? Assume that all OH− came from the reaction of B with H2O.

I got B = 4.005 x 10^-5, but from there how do I determine the percent protonated?

use the [ BH+] / [ B] x 100 to get the percent protonated!
