Textbook 6B.11 Part A

Postby Meghan Terrell 1B » Mon Jan 17, 2022 1:50 pm

I am really confused on how they got the concentration of the original solution. I understand the process of part b, but I am still not sure how they got 18M for the original solution.

Hi Meghan. I looked at some of the work done by students from 2014 on Chem Community and I feel like I understand this problem pretty well now. Here is my work for part a. Please let me know if you have any questions. The post I looked at was titled "Concentration via pH (Q11.35)": https://lavelle.chem.ucla.edu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4722
