Are you allowed to mix pressure and concentrations in an equilibrium constant? I thought we couldn’t since P = concentration * RT. However, Self-test 5G.3B shows pressure and concentration in the same expressions.

I think in general, you can write the expression for the equilibrium constant with pressures for gases and concentrations for aqueous solutions. However, when solving for the Keq, you need to make sure all of your units cancel out to give a unitless constant (generally), and you also need to work with what is given in the problem. However, since this is only asking for the expression, I think you can mix them.

Maybe Dr. Lavelle can follow up?
