Partial Pressure Units

Postby Nils Newman 1F » Sun Jan 29, 2023 8:02 pm

Will we be required to write Kp in bars? I was stuck on a question for awhile because the units were in kPa and I did not realize I had to convert to bars to get the correct answer. So is Kp just always expressed in bars?

I believe Dr. Lavelle said that if the unit given is atm, then conversion is not necessary. However, if the unit for partial pressure is anything other than atm or bars, conversion is necessary.
