5I problem 23

Postby Anamika Patel 3I » Sun Jan 29, 2023 11:09 pm

When I set up a normal ICE table for this problem, it seems like the concentration for H2 at equilibrium becomes negative based on the x value I understood to be 0.478 since that is the amount of CH4 at equilibrium.

Since the vessel is 10 L, I believe that the concentration of H2 at equilibrium is 0.0478 (0.478 mol/10L). I did it this way, and I didn't get a negative number. I hope this makes sense.
