Units of Kp

Postby Netpheel Wang 4L » Sun Jan 27, 2019 11:34 pm

What are the units of the partial pressure of gasses in Kp?

The units would be any units that measure pressure like atmospheres.

Partial pressure can be measured in any normal pressure units. Most commonly this will be in atm or pascals.

It is any unit that can measure pressure such as atm or bar.

The partial pressure can be in any units, but remember to use the same units for all of your gases. Also, the Kp value itself will change based on what units you use for the partial pressure of the gases. Its important to use the appropriate kp value in your calculations (based on what units the problem gives you).

Kp is usually atm or bar, but make sure you use the same units for all the gases in the problem.

The units for Kp are typically bar or atm.

The units of the partial pressures of the gasses in Kp can be in bars or atm. However, it is important to remember that Kp as a whole does not have any units.

The partial pressures of the gases will be in atm or bar, but the Kp will not have units, as it is the equilibrium constant.

Bars or atms I believe
