For problem 35 at the end of chapter 5, how do you know the balance to Quetion between the reactant A and the two products B and C?

If you set up an ICE table and plug in the initial and equilibrium partial pressure values, you can determine the change (the “C” in ICE) which will show a ratio between all three molecules. Through this, you can determine whether the change for each molecule was — -x, -2x, +x, +2x, etc. — and the coefficient in front of the “x” will tell you the coefficient of the molecule in reaction.
