Values for pKb and pKa
If I calculate a pKb or a pKa and the answer is relatively low, does that mean I did the problem correctly? Or at least it's a good sign that its correct?

Re: Values for pKb and pKa
I believe that pKa and pKb for weak acids/bases are typically between 3-7 but can be outside this range. This all depends on the acid/base.

Re: Values for pKb and pKa
The lower the pKa, the stronger the acid. The lower the pKb, the stronger the base. An easy way to check to see if you have the correct values is to add pKa and pKb and make sure the sum is equal to 14.

Re: Values for pKb and pKa
Low pKa and low pH are generally associated with each other, while high pKa and high pH are also associated with each other. The same is true for pKb and pOH.
