question 6.D.5

Postby Sophia_Francis_1G » Thu Jan 26, 2023 3:09 pm

I got totally different answers from the textbook for this question. Did anyone else get different answers? Like for the pOH of A I got 3.51, for the pOH of B I got 3.29, and for the pOH of C I got 3.13. The only answer that matches for the pOH is what I got for D, but then the percent protonation is different for that one. Idk if the textbook just really messed up the answers or what.

Please see corrections to the solutions manual pdf on BruinLearn: "6D.5 (d) % protonation = (1.09 x 10-4)/(0.0073) x 100%, which should = 1.5%, but the answer is
incorrectly typed as 2.5%."
