Volume and moles for Le Chatelier Principle
I know that if the volume is decreases, the system will shift toward the side with the least amount of moles. Does this concept apply to when volume increases? Will the system increase? towards the side with a lot of moles

When volume is decreased, the system will shift toward the side with less moles of gas
And the opposite for when volume is increased, where the system will shift toward the side with more moles of gas

Re: Volume and moles for Le Chatelier Principle
When the volume of a reaction mixture is decreased, the equilibrium shifts towards the side with fewer moles. When the volume is increased, the equilibrium shifts towards the side with more moles to compensate for the decrease in concentration. The equilibrium constant (Kc) remains constant regardless of the volume change.
