Pure Solids and Pure Liquids

Is equilibrium affected by addition/removal of a pure solid or pure liquid?

The equilibrium constant is not affect by pure liquids or solids. Only gases and aqueous solutions affect equilibrium.

Unlike gases and aqueous solutions, pure liquids and solids do not change in molar concentration in a reaction. So, we do not need to include them in equilibrium constant expressions. Also, solvents (ex: water) are omitted from equilibrium constant expressions because the change in solvent concentration is insignificant.

Consider the activities of pure solids and liquids as 1. Even when you include them in the calculation for equilibrium constant, they doesn't affect the result.

No. Water is only considered in the calculation when it is in gas phase.
