Le Chatelier’s principle states that "when a stress is applied to a system in dynamic equilibrium, the equilibrium tends to adjust to minimize the effect of the stress" (textbook). So if any changes were to be made to a reaction like increasing or decreasing the concentration, pressure, etc. the system will respond to return the reaction to equilibrium. Ex. of the concentration of a reactant was increased, the system will shift towards the right towards the formation of products.
