K is temperature dependent, so a change in temperature will result in a change in equilibrium (that has to be restored, resulting in a shift in either the forward or backwards direction). For an endothermic reaction, Kc increases with an increase in temperature (and decreases with a decrease in temp). For an exothermic reaction, Kc decreases with an increase in temperature (and increases with a decrease in temp).
Consider which side of the reaction equation has heat energy. If heat energy is a reactant, an increase would result in a shift towards the products and vice verse. Essentially treat energy as a part of the reaction and use le chatlier's.
