Le Chatelier's Principle

Postby jlinwashington1B » Mon Mar 11, 2019 10:38 am

What does this principle refer to? Is it true that it predicts the change in equilibria?

Le Chatelier's principle predicts how the equilibrium will shift in response to changes in volume, temperature, pressure, the addition or removal of gaseous molecules, etc.

Le Chatelier's Pronciple says that chemical reactions adjust so as to minimize the effect od changes in concentration of molecules involved, changes in pressure, and changes in temperature. It indicates how ththe reaction will respond.

the effects of temperature, pressure, adding or removal of reactants or products, or adding of inert gases on the equilibrium and if there will be shifts to left or right or no shift at all
