What do we need to know about the biological examples: osmotic pressure and ATP hydrolysis?

Osmosis is the net movement of solvent molecules through a selectively permeable membrane into a region of higher solute concentration. This results in the concentration on both sides of the membrane to be equal. Osmotic pressure, then, is how much pressure it would take to prevent osmosis from occurring. I guess you just have to know how this ties in to equilibrium, which is the part that solvent passes between the membrane until the forward and reverse rate is equal.
Not sure about ATP.

Just curious, do you know if we'll need to know certain biological examples for future exams?
