Adding a molecule thats not in reaction

Postby JustinHorriat_4f » Sun Jan 19, 2020 10:46 pm

Would adding a molecule that is not in the reaction affect the production of products or reactants because there is more pressure in the system?

Adding a molecule that is not in the reaction wouldn't affect the reaction or the equilibrium because it doesn't change the concentration of the reactants or the products.

It actually wouldn't affect the equilibrium because it does not affect the concentrations.
