Will we have to know how to create a buffer for the test this week?

I don't believe that buffers will be on the test, but you should definitely know how to find the pH of weak acids/bases.

Lavelle gave an example of creating a buffer in class so I would think it's possible for it to be on the test, or even the midterm and final

Can someone please explain in what situations we would need to solve calculations for a buffer?
