Hello,

In the first container, there is reaction occurring where X2 <--> 2X. The second container represents when some change occurs, there is a significant increase in X atoms. Based on the letter choices, you're supposed to determine which change would cause a shift to the products. Hope this helps.

This diagram depicts the dissociation of a diatomic molecule, from X2 to 2X. The question is basically asking how different changes would affect the reaction's ability to maintain a state of equilibrium. For A, increasing the temperature would increase the product (X) because the reaction is endothermic. For B, adding more X to the flask will lead to an increase of X2. For C, decreasing the volume would also lead to the creation of more X2. Lastly, for D, adding a catalyst will not change anything, as a catalyst plays no role in the reactions ability to maintain equilibrium. Hope this helps
