Re: Room temperature
Yes, if not given a specific value in your word problem for room temperature, I'm sure that is a reasonable assumption.

Re: Room temperature
Hello,
Yes this assumption can usually be made if temperature isn't specified.
Hope this helps.

Re: Room temperature
Yes, according to Dr.Lavelle, unless otherwise stated it is safe to assume that the reaction occurs at 25 degrees celsius.

Re: Room temperature
Like others have said this is the general agrees upon assumption when there is no specific value stated.

Re: Room temperature
If you are not given a temperature I think it would be same to assume that it is 25 degrees celcius.

Re: Room temperature
Yes, when we are not given a temperature, we can assume room temp to always be 25 degrees C.

Re: Room temperature
When solving the problems given in the course, room temperature can always be assumed to be 25 degrees Celsius unless it is specified to be a different value.

Re: Room temperature
Yes, I believe it was said it is fair to assume room temperature to be 25 degrees celsius unless stated otherwise.

Re: Room temperature
Unless stated otherwise, we can assume the reaction will take place at 25 degrees Celsius.

Re: Room temperature
It is safe to infer that 25 degrees Celsius is the room temperature unless the question states otherwise.

Re: Room temperature
That's correct! I think unless otherwise stated, we can assume the temperature is 25 °C.

Re: Room temperature
Yes. For lack of anything else to add to what others have said, 25 degrees Celsius 77 degrees Fahrenheit or 298.15 Kelvin.

Re: Room temperature
If the question doesn't state what the temperature of the environment, we can assume that it is 25 degrees Celsius.

Re: Room temperature
Unless otherwise specified, it would be safe to assume that room temperature is equivalent to 25 degrees Celsius. Hope this helps!

Re: Room temperature
Yup, if not specified by the question then we'll assume the room temperature is 25 degrees Celsius.

Re: Room temperature
Yes, the 25 degress Celsius is room temperature. You can always assume this for a problem unless a problem says otherwise.

Re: Room temperature
Unless the temperature is specifically stated in the question, I think we can assume that it will be at 25 degrees celsius.

Re: Room temperature
We can assume that the temperature (if not given) is 25 C, as it is a standard temp used in most equations.

Yes! Unless stated otherwise, you can make the assumption that room temperature is 25 degrees celsius.

Re: Room temperature
Yes! This is standard temp for most of the problems that we do. We can usually assume this is the temp if another one is not specifically stated

Yes, particularly for this class. If it's something else that information will be given to you.

Re: Room temperature
If not specified, we would surmise that is would be at 25 degrees Celsius, or 298K

Re: Room temperature
Unless specified, it is probable to assume that room temperature would be at standard temperature (25 degrees Celsius or 298K)

Re: Room temperature
Hi, I know there's a bunch of replies but I asked this on a midterm and I was told to always assume 25C/298K unless otherwise specified :)
