Question 5.J.5

Postby 305693278 » Mon Jan 30, 2023 9:28 pm

Hi, in question 5.J.5 part D there is a question asking if a pressure increases in a reaction is reaction or product favored. The reaction is 2HD(g) + H2(g) -- D2(g); I said the product is favored since there are more moles on the reaction side, but the answer says that there are the same # of moles so it goes unchanged. This doesn't seem right, am I doing this problem incorrectly?
