(en) is NH2CH2CH2NH2 or ethylenediamine and is a neutral ligand. The ligands that we need to know can be found on Dr. Lavelle's coordination compound sheet: https://lavelle.chem.ucla.edu/wp-conten ... pounds.pdf

Hello,

EN is an organic compound and is colorless liquid. En is a neutral ligand so it has a charge of zero. En stands for ethylenediamine which the formula is C2H8N2 and this ligand is bidentate meaning it has two donor atoms.
