Arrhenius Acids and bases

Postby Salma_Lara_2k » Fri Dec 08, 2023 1:31 pm

When it comes to Arrhenius Acids and bases how do we predict whether [H+] in water will increase to get an Acid or if [OH-] will increase in water to get a base. Thank you!

An Arrhenius acid is a substance that dissociates in water to form hydrogen ions (H+). An Arrhenius base is a substance that dissociates in water to form (OH-).
