Is Mg(OH)2 a strong base?

The textbook doesn't include Mg(OH)2 as a strong base I know Mg a group 2 metal, so does that mean its hydroxide is a strong base?

I think that Mg(OH)2 is a strong base. Any hydroxides of group 1 or 2 metals are generally strong bases.
