Textbook Practice Problem F 9

F.9 Vanillin is found in vanilla extracted from Mexican orchids. A report on the analysis of vanillin listed the mass percentage composition as 63.15% C C, 5.30% H H, and 31.55% O O. In what atom ratios are the atoms present in vanillin?

The answer I keep getting is slightly different from the solutions I have found. Could somebody show me their last step or explain how they came up with the final ratio? i think that may be where I am going wrong. Thank you!

Here’s a picture of my work. I got the ratio of 8:8:3. I first divided the percentage mass by the molar masses of each element and then divided each element’s moles by the smallest number of moles (which was oxygen) and obtained this ratio.
