Week 10 Sapling Q10
From what I tried figuring out, I got this as my answer but its saying I'm incorrect. I thought I got all the strong acids and strong bases but if not, can someone explain whats wrong?

I think Ca(OH)2 would be a stronger base than KOH because when it dissociates it forms 2 OH- as opposed to KOH forming 1, so it would be at the top of the list.

Ca(OH)2 would be at the top bc when it dissociates there will be 2 OH- ions. KOH will only produce 1. because the concentration of OH- is higher for Ca(OH)2, it will create a more basic solution, so the pH will be higher

Yes! Two factors to keep in mind is the strength of the bond within the compound and whether it is monoprotic or polyprotic :)

After you pick out the strongest acids and bases, just mitch and match the other ones in between and you are bound to get the right answer.
