question regarding lecture today

In class today while discussing HCl Dr. Lavelle said we wouldn't see the equilibrium constant for HCl but I didn't really understand the explanation. Why wouldn't we see the equilibrium constant?

We won't see the equilibrium constant because HCl dissociates completely in water, meaning that all of the HCl "splits" into H+ and Cl- and therefore there won't be any HCl molecules left in the water after the reaction is finished. Therefore, there won't be any reactants left and the equilibrium constant won't be seen for the reaction. (It has to been included because HCl is an aqueous solution, but it would have a concentration of 0 M and that would go on the bottom of the fraction when finding the equilibrium constant).
