When writing the equation for a reaction with acids and bases, should we write the double arrows to represent that it is a forward and backwards reaction when strong acids and bases are involved even though they essentially completely associate?
I agree, I think by omitting the double arrows and instead just having one forward arrow better shows your understanding of the reaction that is occurring. It shows that you have recognized that this is a strong acid/base.
