Are we expected to know the formula for acetic acid, phosphoric acid, bromous acid, etc.?

Re: acid names
I'm also not completely sure, but I think it would be a good idea to memorize the names and chemical formulas for the weak and strong acids and bases that Professor Lavelle specifically discussed and listed out during lecture

Re: acid names
I think we definitely need to know the formula for acetic acid and know strong acids as well.
Re: acid names
I'm not sure but it would probably be good to know the common ones like acetic acid and it wouldn't hurt to learn other ones as well.

Re: acid names
I personally would memorize the more common acids and bases, especially if they appear on the homework.

Re: acid names
I would know all the strong acids and some of the weak acids too. Especially some of the ones used in biological models.

Re: acid names
I would look at the most common acids. Mostly strong acids. Also would look at the acids used in practice problems.
