A lewis acid accepts electrons while a lewis base donates electrons.

Lewis acids are electron pair acceptors while Lewis bases are electron pair donors.

A lewis acid is an electron pair acceptor and a lewis base is an electron pair donor. This differs from Brønsted acids and bases; Brønsted acid is a proton donor and a Brønsted base is a proton acceptor.

Lewis acids end up with a new H+ ion, while the Lewis base ends up with a more basic ion. :) Basically acids accept electrons while bases donate them. I hope this helps!
