Are all Bronsted bases Lewis acids, and are all Lewis acids Bronsted bases? And why would Lewis acids and bases be important?

All Bronsted-Lowry bases are also Lewis bases, but the reverse is not true. Same for Bronsted-Lowry acids and Lewis acids. A Lewis acid is anything that accepts a pair of electrons, while a Bronsted acid accepts pairs of electrons only from hydrogen. A Lewis base is anything that donates a pair of electrons, while a Bronsted base is anything that donates a pair of electrons to a hydrogen.
