Lewis Structure

How can you tell if a compound is a lewis acid or base by looking at their lewis structure?

I find it helpful to draw lewis structures when trying to determine the strength of an acid relative to another as it allows me to assess how strongly hydrogen atoms are bonded to the molecule. The easier those bonds break, the more acidic it is.

We can tell based off of the definition of a Lewis acid, which is a compound that can accept an electron pair, or a Lewis base, which is a compound that can donate an electron pair.
