What does it mean when something is strong?

I know that there are strong acids and strong bases, but what does it actually mean?

Strong acids and bases dissociate completely in aqueous solutions whereas weak bases and acids don’t.

the acid or base will dissociate completely. For acids, it will give away all of its H+ ions and bases will give off it's OH- completely. After being dissolved in water, there will be nothing left of that acid or base in terms of concentration.

Strong acids and bases have weaker bonds between the molecules, which means that they dissociate completely in solution

It means they dissociate completely in solution. This correlates to being strong because it means that there are more H+ or OH- ions in the solution, making it more acidic or basic respectively.

Strong acids and strong bases are substances that completely dissociate in water. Their conjugates are unreactive and are unable to reform the acid or base.

Acids and bases that are completely ionized when dissolved in water are called strong acids and bases.

The strength of an acid is just based on their ability to ionize completely in water and therefore be able to produce H+ ions or OH- ions.

I think it means that they completely dissociate.
