Strong Lewis Bases?

What are the common characteristics of a strong versus weak Lewis base?

Strong bases are generally composed of a cation from the first 2 groups in the periodic table and a hydroxyl group. The strong bases ionize completely while weak bases do not.

A cation from the first two groups of the periodic table bonded with a hydroxide group are typically strong bases!
