Can someone explain the reasoning behind why HF is not a strong acid while the other elements in this column paired with hydrogen are?

Hi! Yes, HF is not a strong acid because fluorine is the smallest and has the highest electronegativity compared to other elements in the same group. Thus, it creates too strong of a bond between H-F and will not dissociate as easily in water. As a result, HF is not a strong acid.
