How do you know which reaction can be classified as a Bronsted acid and base reaction?

A Bronsted Acid is a proton donor and a Bronsted Base is a proton acceptor.

A proton in these definitions refers to the hydrogen ion.

So if a reaction involves the transfer of a proton, then the reaction could be classified as a Bronsted Acid and Base Reaction.

If you can also define which is a Lewis Acid and Lewis Base, that also helps you figure out Bronsted Acids and Bases.
In most cases, a Lewis Acid is a Bronsted Base.
Also, usually, a Lewis Base is a Bronsted Acid.

It's great to know both Lewis and Bronsted Acids and Bases though.
