Proton Transfer Equilbria

Can someone explain what the proton transfer equilibria is and how do you find it?

Correct me if I'm wrong but is it not just a way of saying acid-base reaction at equilibrium? Since the reaction is basically just proton transfer.

In an acid-base equilibrium reaction, a proton is transferred (bronsted), or another way to thing about it is that an electron is donated (Lewis).
