HCl, HClO3, HClO4, HI, HBr, HNO3, HSO4 are strong acids

anything with OH- in it is a strong base.

There's a table in the textbook (Fundamentals J) of the strong acids and bases that is pretty helpful! It's Table J.1 on page F75

Also, anything that is a group 1 or 2 metal cation that is attached to an oxide (o2-) can also be a strong base. ex: CaO and Na2O

Lyndon gave us this list during his last workshop session:

Strong acids: HCl, HBr, HI, HNO3, H2SO4, HClO4

Strong bases: LiOH, NaOH, KOH, RbOH, ScOH, Ca(OH)2, Sr(OH)2, Ba(OH)2

Strong acids are HCl, Her, HI, H2SO4, HClO3, HClO4, and HNo3.
The strong bases are group 1 and 2 oxides and hydroxides.

There is a table in the textbook and Dr. Lavelle also mentioned them during lecture! Strong acids are HI, H2SO4, HCl, HBr, HNO3, HClO4 and strong bases are group 1 and group 2 oxides and hydroxides excluding magnesium.
