Understanding Bronsted acids and bases

Postby Kyilah Terry » Sun Nov 15, 2015 6:02 pm

Is there always going to be only one Bronsted acid and Bronsted base and a conjugate acid and base on each side of a chemical equation?

It depends on the acid-base reaction.

No, depending on the reaction there can be more than one acid or base and sometimes one molecule can act as both(amphoteric).
