What exactly is the difference between Bronsted acids and bases and Lewis acids and bases?

A bronsted acid is a proton donor while a lewis acid is an electron acceptor. A bronsted base is a proton acceptor while a lewis base is an electron donor.

A Bronsted acid is the proton donor in a reaction. A Bronsted base is a proton acceptor in a reaction.
A Lewis acid is the species that accepts an electron pair in a reaction. A Lewis bases is the species that donates an electron pair in a reaction.
The Lewis definition is more broad, because all chemical reactions contain the transfer of electrons. The Bronsted definition is more specific because it deals with reactions in which hydrogen is involved.
