12.1 6th edition

"Write the formula for the conjugate bases of d)HCO3- ..."
I am having trouble writing the formula for this conjugate base.
This is what I came up with.

HCO3- + H+ -> CO3^2-

Am I correct?

yes, the conjugate base of an acid has one less H+ ion than the acid.

The conjugate base is just the deprotonated acid.
